Hello St Werburghs community! As a proud father of two children at the school, I am incredibly excited to share a major personal challenge I’m taking on this summer to support our kids.On June 26th, I’ll be setting off alongside four good friends—David, Tom Hamilton, Jamie and Ant—to cycle from Land’s End to John O'Groats. Hello St Werburghs community! As a proud father of two children at the school, I am incredibly excited to share a major personal challenge I’m taking on this summer to support our kids.
On June 26th, I’ll be setting off alongside four good friends—David, Tom Hamilton, Jamie and Ant—to cycle from Land’s End to John O'Groats. We will be pedaling the entire length of the UK over just eight days, finishing in Scotland on July 4th. It is going to be a massive test of endurance; we’ll be covering roughly 1,461 kilometers and tackling over 12,500 meters of climbing. That means we'll be spending long hours in the saddle, averaging over 180 kilometers every single day.
I am dedicating this grueling journey to two causes close to my heart: Macmillan Cancer Support and St Werburghs Primary School. St Werburghs is such a wonderful community, and I am very hopeful that through this ride, I can raise some crucial cash to support the school and benefit all our children.
